Mr Kerr is currently serving as President – Projects, Studies and Technical Services for Sandfire Resources and was most recently Project Director for the 5.2Mtpa Motheo Project located in Botswana, where he led the construction and delivery of that US$400M project safely and on time and budget.

In addition to his current tenure at Sandfire, Mr Kerr’s recent experience includes serving as a Non-Executive Director at West African Resources Limited and as a Director at engineering group Mintrex Pty Ltd where he was study manager for several West African gold projects including West African Resources’ Sanbrado Project, Roxgold’s Yaramoko Project and Perseus’ Edikan Project.

ESG and sustainability executive with more than 25 years of experience across the Australian and international mining, energy and infrastructure sectors. Has led ESG strategy, risk oversight and stakeholder engagement for companies operating in Australia, Africa, Latin America, Europe and Russia, including operational leadership in Côte d’Ivoire. Previously chaired ESG Committees reporting to global mining company boards and led enterprise-wide sustainability transformation at Perseus Mining, South32 and BHP. Currently provides global ESG advisory services to Resource Capital Funds and Gold Fields.

Geologist with more than 35 years’ experience specialising in resource and reserve estimation. In 2012, jointly founded Orimco, where he is a Director of the resource fund manager and multi-disciplinary advisory business providing investment, capital markets and mining technical expertise. Previously served as a Principal at RSG Global before becoming General Manager – Technical Development at Coffey Mining following its acquisition of RSG Global. Has undertaken consulting assignments, technical due diligence reviews, and technical and financial advisory mandates on mining projects globally, with extensive experience across West Africa.

A Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience as a corporate and finance professional.

Commenced his career in public practice before specialising in the natural resources sector in 2007. He has recent experience in the development and operation of gold mines.

Most recently served as CFO and Company Secretary of the ASX-Listed Medallion Metals Ltd (ASX: MM8) and prior to that, previous roles with Carnaby Resources Ltd (ASX: CNB) and the formerly ASX-listed Beadell Resources Ltd prior to its takeover in 2019.

Qualified mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of mining industry experience specialising in the engineering, design, procurement and construction of mineral processing plants, power stations and mine infrastructure. Has successfully led the delivery of feasibility studies and construction of mining projects across multiple jurisdictions, including large-scale gold processing plants.

Brings extensive African project experience and a wealth of project management and technical expertise to Turaco. Most recently served as Vice President – Projects at Allied Gold Corporation, managing the Sadiola Gold Mine upgrade in Mali. Prior to that, was Project Manager for the design and construction of Red 5 Limited’s (now Vault Minerals) 4Mtpa King of the Hills gold processing plant and associated infrastructure in Leonora, Western Australia.

Previously served as Project Manager for the construction of the 2.5Mtpa processing facility at the Dalgaranga Gold Project in Western Australia, now operated by Ramelius Resources, and held senior technical roles with leading engineering firms including Mintrex and DRA, delivering projects across the full development cycle from feasibility studies through to commissioning.

Mining Engineer with over 25 years’ experience with previous and most recent experience in West Africa (Burkina Faso) with technical management and study management roles with West African Resources Ltd (ASX: WAF) and Gryphon Minerals Ltd.

Held previous role with RSG Global/Coffey Mining involved in feasibility and operational improvement studies for projects in Ghana, Senegal, Guinea, and the DRC.

Over 25 years-experience in Africa, Southeast Asia and Australia. Responsible for multiple economic gold and base metal discoveries.

For over 10 years, led resource delineation and feasibilities on several West Africa gold projects (Burkina Faso and Guinea).
